Collaboration

As a small school we offer many advantages for our pupils. :

• Individual attention on a regular basis
• Education geared to ability not age
• Regular opportunities to take part in events

Despite these advantages we have recognised that we can enrich our pupils' education further by working with other schools.

Ysgol Tal-y-Bont, some two miles down the road, is our main partner school. Our pupils receive lessons with Tal-y-Bont pupils on a regular basis:

• Physical Education - including swimming lessons
• History
• Geography

During these sessions our pupils also get to extend their friendship group by mixing with their peers.

Many visits are also jointly organised. Examples Include:

• Poetry Workshop at the National Slate Museum, Llanberis
• Art Workshops at the Royal Academy, Conwy
• Music Quest Project with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
