Zoolab

Towards the end of last year we were rewarded with a visit from Zoo lab for all our hard work we put into the Eisteddfod. Zoo lab is an organisation that sends people to schools to show the pupils animals. The person who came to us was called Sam. She was very nice.

She showed us a Corn Snake, a Toad, a Tarantula, a Millipede, a Cockroach, an African Giant Snail and Rats. It was very fun. I got to hold a Tarantula. I don’t really like spiders but I liked this one. She was very fury, and had sticky feet to stick to walls, so she can climb as high as she wants to and she can go up side down.

I liked the Rats. Sam brought two rats in they were called Mario and Luigi. Sam only showed us Mario because Luigi was ill.

The Giant African Snail was huge and very slimy. It had a very nice pattern on its shell. The Corn Snake was really smooth and was quite strong for its size. We all had a brilliant time.

On Wednesday the 10th of March a road safety clown came to our school. He was funny but we were learning to look before we cross the road. We got to spin plates on a stick. It was lots of fun, every one was laughing. He gave us all balloons and he gave Miss Williams an enormous rose. He is a fabulous clown. We all wish he was back again. Thank you very much clown

Busy experimenting

Once we went on a school trip to Techniquest in Wrexham and went through the mirror maze. The mirror maze is a bit complicated.13 children went there – 3 from the little children’s class and 10 from the big class. We had sandwiches for dinner. We were filling up the skulls body with ribs and different things. We had lots of fun.
